Reg Pringle, MA MLitt (Edin.) DipComp (AbCol.) completed his master's degree in Hispanic Literature in 1966 and subsequently held posts at the Universities of St Andrews (Associate Librarian, 1981-88) and Aberdeen (University Librarian, 1988-1996).   From 1990-1995 he was Project Director of Grampian Information (now defunct).   He later held posts as Adult Education Assistant / Community Education Worker in Aberdeenshire (1997-1998), and Lecturer in Office Technology / Software Engineering at what was then Aberdeen College (1999-2004).   He was until 2023 an Assistant to the Administrator at the North East of Scotland Music School in Aberdeen and is now Librarian and Honorary Fellow there.
